Joe Heinlen
I am a transplant to Chelan in 1996 from the little town of Toutle Wa. While living in Toutle I experienced the eruption of Mt St Helens.
In 1996 my wife and I moved to Chelan and made this our home to raise our 2 daughters.
I retired from Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) in 2009 with 17 yrs as a Hatchery Specialist.
My passion in life is, and always will be, fishing over everything else. I started Guiding in 2003 and have never looked back!

As a Chelan native I have been fishing the lake from one end to the other and enjoying our local outdoors my entire life.
I have been fortunate to have fished from Alaska to the Florida Keys and yet Lake Chelan has always been at the top of my list.
I enjoy and look forward to sharing this unique experience with others.
