Wow — just wow! Mark at Lake Chelan Adventures truly knows Lake Chelan. His knowledge of the lake and the fish is impressive — he knows exactly what they’re biting on and where to find them. My husband and I booked an “adventure” (I’m more of a fisherman’s wife), and we had the BEST time. It was fish on, fish on, fish on! I even reeled in a couple myself! Mark was patient, encouraging, and so kind — which made the whole experience even better. If you’re thinking about a fishing trip, I highly recommend Lake Chelan Adventures!

Just spent two days fishing with mark. My brother and i were both blown away by marks expertise. Not just regarding the fishing but as a tour guide also. We brought home plenty of fish. The boat was well equipped with all needed safety gear and the tackle was all top notch. Wouldn't be surprised to find out he had something to do with the great weather too. The boat did smell kinda fishy though. Thanks mark!!

We had an absolutely incredible experience with Lake Chelan Adventures and Captain Mark. From the moment we stepped on the boat, Mark was knowledgeable, capable, informative, professional, and genuinely polite — exactly the kind of guide you hope for on a charter.

Within five minutes of setting the lines, we were already hooking fish, and after that it felt like we were reeling one in every 10 minutes. For February, we couldn’t have asked for a better day. We had the entire lake to ourselves and ended up catching 14 fish — including two Chinook salmon and a bunch of big lake trout.

The boat itself was extremely comfortable and fully outfitted with modern gear. The remote GPS-guided motor and sonar fish finder let Mark stay focused on positioning us perfectly and helping me and my wife Neoma land fish all day. Everything felt smooth, organized, and professional.

We had such a great time that we already booked our next charter with Mark for May. I honestly can’t recommend Lake Chelan Adventures enough. Truly an awesome experience with a top-notch guide.

Perfect day on a Lake Chelan charter. Mark knows exactly what he’s doing and worked nonstop to put us on fish. We caught one Chinook and nine lake trout, and the trip was smooth, fun, and well run. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience highly recommend him.

We had a spectacular day of fishing down lake with pro guide, Mark! His boat and gear were top notch, he was incredibly knowledgeable about where to fish, what bait to use and coaching us on getting fish in the boat! We fish a lot in the salt water, so it was fun to learn the lake fishing techniques! It was a beautiful late October day out on the water and we caught lake trout and Chinook salmon. Next time we want to fish with Mark uplake!

Went out with Mark for 3 days of great fishing and fun. Mark was a great guide and very knowledgeable about the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our time on the water and will definitely be back again in the future.

I’d give more than 5 stars if possible. Went on a full day upper lake trip with Mark who was fantastic! We started the day with Mark teaching the child (11 y/o) in my group how to cast, and he continued teaching him throughout our trip. By the end of our trip the kid was an expert! Mark had tons of local knowledge/history he shared throughout the trip which was very interesting. To top it all off we caught a LOT of fish! I would recommend this trip to anyone who is ready for 8 hours on the water! I will definitely get ahold of Mark next time I am at the lake for another trip!

My boyfriend and I went fishing with Mark and it was the best experience! He is knowledgable, funny, and made the trip a worthwhile time. I have never fished before and he made me feel confident and excited about catching my first fish! We ended up with about 5 fish and ended up eating our delicious Chinook salmon for dinner that night. I would highly recommend booking a fishing trip with Mark if you are in the Lake Chelan area. I don’t think there is anyone more suitable for the task of being your next fishing guru

Our guide, Mark, took a group of us up lake to chase cutthroat — and the trip didn’t disappoint! Every stop along the way featured non-stop action. We caught-and-released over 70 fish. Great boat and gear. Highly recommend an up-lake trip for cutthroat. We can’t wait to go again.

We had the absolute best time fishing with Captain Mark! I would without a doubt recommend this trip to families visiting Chelan. I took my three kids for a morning trip and they loved it! Mark was a wonderful guide and kept the kids entertained with his extensive knowledge of everything fishing and Chelan. We will make sure this is a trip we do again.

Best fishing trip of our lives! Mark is incredibly knowledgeable and engaging as a guide. The fishing experience was fantastic for my 6 year old son, 70 year old mother and I. We also did some sightseeing from the boat while going up lake and then took a tour of Stehekin. We highly recommend Lake Chelan Adventures. Whether you are a seasoned angler or looking for a new experience, you will not be disappointed!

Mark Lippincott took us out on the lake on June 29th, where we promptly caught over 30 lbs of lake trout. I'm a total fishing novice, and Mark assisted me & my husband expertly while still allowing us to reel 'em in. Great gear; good boat; fun host - we will book with y'all again!

We had the best morning ever with our guide Mark. The day was beautiful as so was the view. Mark was very knowledgeable and knew a lot about fishing. So if you want to go out for a day or half day I highly recommend him. To top our morning off we caught a lot of trout!

Mark was a fantastic guide! I have been trout fishing this state for 35 years and never caught so many big ones. Not only was Mark an expert at finding the fish, he treated my son and I with the utmost courtesy and kindness, and impressed us as an outstanding human being with great respect for nature, his fellow human beings and his family. He is also a tremendous outdoorsman on many levels, and knows this area like the back of his hand. I would encourage anyone to take this trip if they love fishing, beautiful mountain scenery and fun conversation.

UPDATED: This week we went back to Lake Chelan and booked 2 more days with Mark. Just like the first time we had ton of fun, caught a LOT of fish, and Mark was great with our kids. He treated our family so well, we'll probably be back for a third time! Original review, June 2021: Enjoyed a fabulous day on the lake with our entire family. Mark was great in working with all of us, young and old, experienced or inexperienced, and had us on fish all day. My kids had an outstanding time and we made some incredible memories today - fishing, hiking, swimming, beautiful scenery, seeing the mountains goats - you name it, we had an awesome, awesome day. Mark is AWESOME! I have lived in lake chelan for 30 years, I was born and raised here and I haven’t met anyone as knowledgeable and enjoyable to fish with. From hunting, to landmarks, to fishing and more, mark has it all down. It was hands down the most enjoyable guided fishing trip I have been on. I couldn’t recommend it more! The boat was clean as a whistle, mark was an excellent driver and guide, very safe and efficient. We got into the most beautiful spots on the lake, he nosed us in to waterfalls and creek mouths effortlessly. Thanks again Mark and Lake Chelan Adventures! We WILL be back!!!
